How do I RY.PE websites?

It´s easy. Sign in to RY.PE. Copy any URL you want, paste it on the main bar and add an (optional) comment. Then just click on “Shorten” and that long URL will be reduced to a few characters whih will incluye your username. The URL will be saved on your personal profile, so that you can have easy access to it… and your friends will be able to see which are your favorite sites, giving them the chance of posting a comment.

RY.PE & Tweet

Fantastic as it is, Twitter still has the 140 character limit. We get to shorten words and create a whole new language in order to fit those preciated characters in our twitts. But when we want to twitt a long URL, along with a comment, we get stuck.

With Rype, besides being able to save your sites in a personal profile, you get the chance to shorten any URL and make it spreadable to all your friends through Twitter. Choose the “Sign in with twitter” option, and then just paste the URL, add a comment (if you want) and click on “Shorten & Twiitt”. The shortened version will be twitted instantly on your twitter profile and saved in your personal RY.PE profile.
